I am trying out mailcow as a replacement for my current mail solution. But I run into a problem with sharing mailboxes.
What I wanted to do was share one folder and its subfolders to another account but if I do that with an existing account I have to share each and every subfolder separately. This is not a problem with one folder but if there are say 100 of them this is not the most fun job to do.
What I found was a setting for dovecot: “plugin { acl_defaults_from_inbox=yes }”. After adding this setting the account showed all the folders but when I clicked on it the application seems to hang.
I could not find any error’s in the log so I was wonder does this work? Or is there a better way to share a folder with all its subfolders?
