Domain admin unable to add emails

Domains and mailboxes none visible in gui but work nonetheless.

Have you checked the logs? Nginx, php-fpm, mariadb?

DopeDealers Apologies as you may have tried this if I read correctly, but does changing around the domain drop down change anything? Trying to figure out how it may be messing up since without logs we’re kind of working with a black box.

maiyannah No worries i get it, the domain dropdown or changing domains doesn’t do anything,

Ive also tried clearing the cache internally to fix the issues to no avail

The only logs I get when trying to recreate are these

DopeDealers Bit of a crap shoot but anything in netfilter? It could be internal networking is breaking down.

maiyannah As i said unfortunately these are the only logs. i might just have to wait for the next update to roll out for anything

did some digging. and it seems the API has permission issues atm for domain admins, the datatables will not load correctly on the UI

That makes sense, though its weird that it affects you and not some other users. Could be that a clean install doesn’t set permissions properly, maybe, since the ones who it works for are long-time users?

maiyannah I’ve been using mailcow for quite a few years now I’ve only just recently had this issue updating to the latest version. It could mean I need a clean install with backups.

The objects being sent by the data tables will not display due to this, and I even went in a debugged the PHP and it shows the data is being successfully sent but the UI won’t display it possibly due to the API and permission mismatch

esackbauer did further digging and was able to access the datables but it returns a json syntax error

“SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected end of data at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data”
only for logged in domainadmins, and not normal super admins!
