I’d like to test spam and quarantine settings. Is there a way to send a test spam email that will score high enough on rspamd to trigger the filter? I’ve tried sending all kinds of mails with dubious text, but they are all coming from trusted/secure hosts like gmail and aren’t scoring high enough. I tried using the GTUBE, but it gets rejected instantly by the server before it ever even hits rspamd.

Hm, well I’m having issues with this as well as my sending mail server is rejecting it before it even gets out.
Maybe there is a way to create a custom rule for the spam filter to automatically score say 100 if it detects a certain text in the message body?

I tested using a google workspace account and didn’t experience a problem sending the EICAR test string in an otherwise empty email.
Might be worthwhile creating a ‘burner’ gmail account for testing purposes. This way your email rep on your regular email account also won’t be negatively impacted, nor interfere with your tests.
