When we send E-Mails with Thunderbird with an inline image the attachement will be outside of boundaries and not shown in most mail clients. The source code shows the Attachement. This only happens when the E-Mail is send as HTML E-Mail with an domain wide footer.
On plain text with domain wide footer we somtimes get “=2=20” symbols they seem to be space symbols german characters (ü,ä,ö,ß) however work.
Our current Version is 2025-09b.
I am still testing, sending email on the build in mail client on mac with a signature (to send HTML) will send a Signatur for every attachement. 2 attachements equal 3 Signatures. plain text seems to work.
