How do I migrate my Mailcow instance (with all emails) to a new server?

maximaw the documentation is a bit confusing. how were you able to migrate your server to the new server. did you use the Migration part of the documentation or the Cold-standby part. could you let me know please

DocFraggle Thank you so much. I ran the cold standy and it was successful but yesterday I couldnt implement reverse DNS on my new server and also point my domain to the new server. In that time there are new mails in all the inbox on the old server. Should I run the script again just to make the cold standby up to date? my fear is I have less than 20% of space left on the old server.

DocFraggle Yesterday I successfully migrated my email server from the old VPS to a new one using the cold_standby.sh script, and the migration process went through without any issues.

After the migration, I logged into my new VPS, set up reverse DNS, and updated my email domain DNS records to point to the new server IP address. Everything seemed fine until this morning when I tried to access my admin panel, but I can no longer reach it.

Did you experience something similar after migration? Could it be related to DNS propagation, firewall settings, or something I might have missed during the setup?

Any guidance or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

No, I had no problems at all after the migration.
How did you access the admin panel before changing the DNS entries? Can you reach it via IP address?
Maybe restarting the stack helps:

docker compose down
docker compose up -d

DocFraggle I ran docker down and then up in the new mail server. then its been pulling and ive seen seeing the following for about 30 mins now.. should I just leave it to keep running

DocFraggle Yeah its working now but I can still see the logs moving. Can I stop it? because it seems to be going on forever

DocFraggle I think I know the problem now. I ran the docker up with -d . so I did docker compose down and then docker compose up -d
