Outlook ActiveSync Calendar Events Not Syncing with Mailcow, but SOGo Works

I have CloudPanel installed on a Debian 12 server and run Mailcow as a Docker container. The server is behind a MikroTik router, with all necessary ports forwarded.

Email sending works fine, but there are synchronization issues with calendar events:

Events created in Outlook (configured via ActiveSync) do not sync.
However, events created in SOGo sync correctly to Outlook.

What could be causing this issue?

It is complicated. There are some more threads in the forum regarding this issue. For some it works, for other it does not.
Maybe its because you are using 64bit Outlook. Try it with 32bit Outlook

mikayil No there won’t be. We recently had a nice talk with the SOGo devs. They’ll remove the EAS Functionality in the refactored version of SOGo in 2026 which mailcow will use at some point.

i don’t know. You should investigate the SOGo forum/mailing lists. ActiveSync is solely provided by SOGo, mailcow just ships SOGo.

ActiveSync is a tricky topic. I use DAVx5. It works perfectly.
