hi, i have change mx records of my main domain, and my server IP, its over hours but in logs i see my old ip , please help, i have docker comper down+up -d and reboot , nothing change
example :
sogod [75]: old ip "POST
postfix/tlsproxy[591]: CONNECT from [OLD IP]:4625
postfix/tlsproxy[591]: Anonymous TLS connection established from [OLD IP]:46252

DNS changes can take up to 24/48 hours depending on the provider.
There are tools to check propagation, e.g. https://www.whatsmydns.net/

dns change is ok , on server i can see ths change, i have changed my server ip to,
1.1.1.1 to 1.1.1.2 example but in server log i see 1.1.1.1 not the new ip .

The logs look a bit weird und truncated, like the sogod log message. I don’t know how the logs somehow reflect the unclear issue you’re having. The logs show the IPs where connections are coming from, like email clients. Of course the client IPs won’t change when you change your server IP.

And mailcow isn’t aware about the public IP you’re using, as that’s “abstracted” by using Docker in between.

Beside that, the IPs you’re referencing aren’t starting like 172.22.1.x, right?

yes right, 172.22.1. there no changing, i changed my mx ip , thats ok dns worked
my server ip is local like 10.34.61.2 , there is snat and dnat in firewall , i see all connection to server and in server , but server make answer with old ip , this is confused.
my old ip is in spamlists because 1 client virus problem because that i change it.

nquick yes right, 172.22.1. there no changing

172.22.1.0/24 is hardcoded in the docker-compose.yml file and there’s no need to change that when changing your public IP address.
