I read it but I feel like I’m misunderstanding something. I have port forwarded 80, but besides that I am really confused.

If you are confused already , then maybe running a groupware server is something too complicated for you?
You have to deal not only with http/port 80, but a lot of other protocols like SMTP, IMAP, https etc. You should have basic knowledge about all of them, otherwise running such a complex mail server will be frustrating for you.

Cloudflare tunnel won’t work, as it covers only port 80/443. And none of the other ports you need.

You cannot change port 25 to other portnumbers, or you will never be able to receive mails. This is why I said you must understand how SMTP works…
What is the reason that you want Cloudflare tunnels? If you are on a dynamic IP address, it will always be full of troubles in receiving and especially sending mails.

Again, that will not work. READ ABOUT SMTP!
You MUST receive mails from other mail servers (“external”) on port 25!

I did some reading and was wondering. If I open port 25, is there a possibility that it could break anything? specifically any programs like outlook. I feel like it wouldn’t but just want to make sure.

We cannot educate you with absolute basics of networking etc.
