I have changed to Spectrum Internet.
They use a modem and separate router.
I have to use their router or I don’t have internet.
I have a mesh network attached to their router.
When I used the previous provider my WAN IP that the mesh saw was a public IP address.
I have port forwarding setup to go the mailcow server.
Now the WAN IP address on the mesh network is 192.168.1.202
My mailcow server is 192.168.68.21 which is the mesh network
I have changed the DNS in the world to work with the new providers public IP but mail is not getting through.
If I go to a computer on my lan and type in 192.168.1.202 it goes to the mailcow server.
I don’t understand how that works.
How do I get mail to go to the mailcow server with this setup?

I have a feeling I can’t use my mesh network or I have to change all the internal IP addresses?

  • I fixed my problem.
I removed their router and plugged my mesh straight into their modem.
When I connected the mesh to it and changed the DNS server to the public IP it had everything worked.
    Sorry for the question.
