sync jobs always crash

when i start a sync job,it connected upstream IMAP server successfully.But failed to login on mailcow account.
the message is:

Use the host IPv4 address as mailcows address.

Check the mailcow user. Is that user allowed to logon with IMAP? Is his account/mailbox not disabled?

I see the same issue: valid, active users can’t launch sync jobs due to login failure to dovecot mailcow. The remote login works to gmail, for ex.

Maybe the imapsync binary is trying to log in to localhose, but it’s not running on the dovecot container?

What is allowed for that user? IMAP logon with mailcow password, or is it disabled in mailcow account, then you would need to create an app password for imapsync.
