Hello everyone,
I am currently in despair with Sogo.
I have integrated several IMAP mailboxes in Sogo Webmail. I see folders in my main mailbox that I cannot delete. I can delete them but they come back. I am sure that they come from my Google Mail which I have also integrated via IMAP.
I have researched that it may have something to do with “Subscription”. I probably clicked on it somewhere while trying it out. How can I delete these folders again?

Many thanks for any answer

Does no one have any ideas? I have folders in my mailbox that I delete and they keep coming back over and over again, I can’t explain it. I have already completely deleted the mailbox once in Mailcow and created a new one. The same thing happens.
[Google Mail]
[Google Mail] All messages
[Google Mail] Important
[Google Mail] Marked
Drafts
Voicebox

This are all folders normaly from other mailboxes which I have.
I have integrated the other mailboxes in Sogo via IMAP. I can’t explain what is happening here. Can I perhaps delete these folders from the configuration in Mailcow via the shell?

Have something to say?

Yes I configure sync jobs but I had do this now also completly new…… And I more sync jobs created also for other mailboxes and from this mailboxes I have no folders in my mailcow mailbox visible…… I have no idea what I should look for in these sync jobs.
And this mailboxes from the sync jobs normally separate mailboxes then in for example sogo webmailer and not as an subfolder in my mailcow mailbox

edit:
Here is my configuration from one of the mailbox:

Is there something wrong maybe?

Sorry this is more abstraction than I can process.

If you have mailcowboxA and you have imap sync like: gmailA -> mailcowboxA then depend on period settings you will copy content of gmailA into mailcowboxA even if you delete this from mailcowboxA

Edit: you added screen shot. Yes I believe this is your source of problem. Even if you have “Delete from source when completed” check. Gmail just not allow to delete those basic folder (or it will recreated it promptly). I believe you are not able to solved it if you want to keep this sync.

Ok but I think that was a great hint, thank you very much. I have now deactivated the sync job as a test. It no longer happens, all good.

Actually I “only” wanted the mails to be picked up from the gmail inbox via SMTP and put into my inbox from the mailcow mailbox. Is this simply not possible with mailcow? Or does it have to be done differently

Thank you so much for your help. I have now worked with excludes in the sync jobs and set it up the way I want it.
If I continue to have problems, I will do it like in your link.
