Hello dear community,

1.)
during the search for an instruction to prevent http access to the UI I have found the following two articels:

docs.mailcow.email Icon Redirect HTTP to HTTPS - mailcow: dockerized documentation

docs.mailcow.email Icon Overview - mailcow: dockerized documentation
docs.mailcow.email Icon docs.mailcow.email
Overview - mailcow: dockerized documentation
None
docs.mailcow.email

But I dont get what I have to do now… I simply want that the UI is automatically redirectetd to HTTPS.
Eventually some of you have detailed infos for cofiguring that.

2.)
How can I disable http compression?

I’m using the standart configuration with nginx.

Best Regards,

do you have a reverse proxy ?

Hello 🙂

I have followed the instructions behind the upper link.

Just navigate in your Mailcow project/installation directory on your Mailserver to the path mentioned and generate the file via Nano. In this file paste the content like it is from the site (upper link) and write out of the file. After that you can restart the nginx container und you know should have https redirection.
