Hello,

Is it possible to disconnect users connected to a remote profile?

The goal being, for our retired employees, to be able to disconnect them from their peripherals (PC / Laptop etc).

Just to be precise, I don’t have any skills in using lines of code or anything else, so if this is the only way to do it, could you please tell me how to go about it?

  • Jordan-Le afaik you can’t really do anything about this, as like you said the mails are cached locally on the PC/phone. You can’t tell Thunderbird/Outlook etc remotely to clean their cache.

You could just change the password of your retired employee’s account, so they can’t login anymore.

Have something to say?

Yes, I’ve already done this, but as I’m using Thunderbird in IMAP, the old e-mails are still available, so we were looking for a solution to “Force Disconnect” them so that they no longer have the e-mails visible on Thunderbird or on their phone. (Even if we’re aware that they remain in the PC’s local files).

Thanks for your reply, that’s what I thought! Have a nice day 🙂
