Connection timed out

I’ve been working on this setup for a few days and I’ve finally had to break down and ask for help (something I really prefer not to bother others about). I’m getting issues with port 25 in that it states in the Postfix logs that the connection times out. Port 25 is open, for inbound and outbound traffic, and according to the DNS records tool, my primary records for for the smtp protocol are functional. The firewall has been disabled, my ISP is not blocking my outbound port, and I have disabled ipv6. I’m at a loss here folks. Any suggestions? I’d 100% be willing to pay someone just to get this up and going for me… like, seriously, we can TeamViewer this issue and I can start drinking lol.

Hi there,

a connection timout on port 25 means normally that this port is blocked (probably on provider level).
I would double check everything - especially with your hosting provider. Are you by chance with Hetzner? If yes, Hetzner blocks port 25 till the first invoice have been paid. You need to wait or do an ID verification to get the port unblocked.

Otherwise you could contact the guys of servercow to get paid support.
