Hi,
I’ve setup a new mailcow instance last weekend (Ubuntu 22.04, custom Apache reverse proxy and certificates via ISPConfig), and it all went reasonably well.
I’ve only got two mailboxes, which I migrated off an old Plesk installation. I used Thunderbird to copy all emails from the old inboxes to a local folder, and copied those back into the new mailcow inboxes later on.

Whats confusing me is that I can see all emails without any problem in SoGo and via IMAP, while Outlook for Android connected via ActiveSync only shows the emails that were received after switchting the servers, but none of the “imported” ones.
Does anyone know what could cause this, and how to fix it?

stipps Could it be something with imap setting to download from folders?

      Have something to say?

maybl8 do you mean I might have uploaded them into the wrong directory?
With IMAP I can see the old and new emails in the same directory, via activesync only the new ones

stipps I haven’t used active sync for a while now. Look at the settings and see if there is something about folder settings. In thunderbird I know you have to check a box about showing subscibed folders.
I will try to install Outlook on my phone and see how that works.
I use a email program on my phone called Edison mail+ .
Maybe someone else could help you more.

maybl8 ah, I see. As for the clients I have used, Activesync doesn’t really provide you with any settings or options, it all automagically configured.
