Can't forward emails to external address

Hey there,

I tried using a Sieve filter and then using the native forward option from SOGo, but I can’t forward them… I’m using Amazon SES as SMTP Relay, all of the messages sent goes through SES.
Sending & receiving without forwarding works perfectly. However, when I activate forward, I get errors, probably because it doesn’t rewrite the from & to correctly?

SES thinks I want to send messages as that person that really send it.

Will this result in a spam / bounces or complaints rising in my SES stats?

Or how to use sieve_redirect_envelope_from?

I know this is an old post, but I’m new to MailCow, and am hitting some issues that appear ‘old’.

I too use AWS SES. If I use the email sieve filter to forward an incoming email to an external email address, it gets rejected.

For what it’s worth, I’ll post here:

Not fully understanding the error, I added both above email addresses in AWS SES as ‘confirmed’ Identities by clicking the confirmation links in each recipient email inbox.

(This is most likely futile, but I’m stubborn)

Regardless, I continue to get the above reject for any SOGo Email Seive filter I have to forward email to external email addresses.
