Darkmode for Mailcow

Do you want a Dark Mode in Mailcow, here you go, rename the Files to “.css” and drag and drop those CSS Files into “/opt/mailcow-dockerized/data/web/css/build”. I don’t know, how long those CSS Files are working, but for the Moment it is perfect (23.06.2020).

Enjoy it on the dark side

Are these files update-resistant? Meaning that if I update Mailcow will I have to patch again or will they stick with the change?

Hey, for some reason I can’t download your Files. I get a Message with “You are not allowed to download this Files” any suggestions?

it isn`t working for me. i put files in /opt/mailcow-dockerized/data/web/css/build/ and after restart containers nothing has changed. What have I done wrong?

The dark mode works only with the admin webpage. Webmail nothing has changed.

Hello, even though this thread is a bit older. Since I have not found a darkmode and the customizations of the files posted here do not cover the complete administration interface, I have done the work and completely customized the interface.

I added @media (prefers-color-scheme: dark) { to the beginning and an extra } to the end to now have Mailcow automatically switch. Works great so far.

small update regarding my darkmode:

The darkmode will be integrated into Mailcow. This is expected to be released ₁₂/22 according to Twitter post. Currently this can already be tried out in Nightly.
