Looping back??

Hi,

New install with idea to use Mailcow as a gateway to protect my 2 other main Mailcow servers.

Setup as relay for domain btl.io and set to use sender dependent transport to relay mail to this domain to the main server handling this domain for clients.

MX points to this gateway server as you’d expect.

If the domain has been told to send to the server set in the sender dependent transport why is it insisting on using the MX record which points back to itself?

Is this an acceptable method/approach that should work?

If not what is the recommended method?

Did you set “Relay this domain” in the domain config?

You’d also need to edit/add a transport map, not a sender dependent transport.

Can I add a transport map for each domain i wish to relay through the system?

I f I can how do I route via each individual transport map?

diekuh Sorry forgot, yes relay this domain and relay all recipients are both set.
