I have an issue and I din’t know how to solve it…
I have 2 dedicated VPS. The main one works well with Mailcow but I must change to another VPS server.
First, I update Mailcow using
update.sh, then, I follow the documentation and backup Mailcow (https://mailcow.github.io/mailcow-dockerized-docs/b_n_r_restore/).
I compress the backup folder (tar.gz) and I move it to the new VPS using SCP.
I did a fresh install of Mailcow on the new VPS, generate a default configuration then restore the backup using the helper script.
Restore seems OK but I have a encryption issue:
failed: Decryption error: no private key available
I read mailcow/mailcow-dockerized#2395 but file are the same on both servers (content and permission).
I try many backup and restore, without success … Do you have any idea in order to help me to resolve my issue?
I have another question!
Is there a way to backup ONLY the Mailcow configuration (like configuration & details and mail setup) ?
If yes, I have my email backuped, If I can restore the configuration only, I will receive the new emails and it’s ok for me.
Thanks for your help 🙂
