use mailcow as oauth _service_ provider with okta

NOTE: this is the english version of this post here.

I want to use mailcow as a company email server, and we use okta as the identity provider. I did find a couple of articles how to configure something else to use mailcow as identity provider - but nothing about how to use mailcow as service provider with something else as identity provider.

is it possible to configure mailcow as service provider using okta (or any other oauth identity provider) as identity backend?

answer from the mailcow support: mailcow can be configured as IdP (identity provider) for other services, but can not work as SP (service provider) together with an external IdP. so no.
