Hi,
I’m planning to subscribe to a VPS as I need to run some services, and since I’m gonna pay for it I thought of running my own email server on the VPS (also for privacy reasons). It’s going to have just a few users (<5), mostily using imap to acess the accounts, but I read that the minimum requirements for Mailcow is 6-8 GB of RAM.
While the VPS has 8GB, I would prefer to reduce this consumption to leave more memory avaliable for the other services (which are nothing major, but still). What can I disable (and should) on mailcow to archive this goal? I read that I can disable ClamAV and Solr. What’s the impact on memory usage of disabling these two? Any other ones that I can disable?
Thanks, and great work with mailcow by the way 🙂
