Sync Job runs super slow

Hello.
I have a problem with our mailcow server.
I’m using Sync Jobs to copy mailboxes from a Kerio server we want to decommission.
There is one particular mailbox that has almost one million emails.
Sync job starts fine but after a couple of days it starts to run slow.
Transferring less than one message per second.
And I know this is what happens because it does the same when running it manually.
I could leave it running for months if necessary, but the problem is the rest of the jobs won’t run until this one finishes and backup script also fails, because of the constant mailbox change.
Is there any setting I can change to improve this? maybe to have more than one sync job at the same time?

do it in batches, use the --minage and --maxage parameters to limit the sync to e.g. a month or year

Also make sure you have enough RAM and persistant good write I/O performance.

yeah. I’ll go that route.
It looks strange that 400k messages sync without problems, but 900k have this problem.
I tried a 60 day maxage and I had to cancel it after 2 days.
I’ll see if it works after more days.

Just to comment and update this post.
Configuring a Sync Job to get the last 120 days still takes 4 hours to complete, even though there are just a few new emails. It seems that going through all of the messages is still slow.
Anyway, this can be marked as close.
