Bug report also present on GitHub:
mailcow/mailcow-dockerized-app9
To be clear (same post on GitHub, but looking for other people to help here as well):
On my end, even setting up the “Sender-dependent transports” individually for one of my accounts, e.g., “mail1@domain.com”, is using the user and password from the domain Sender-dependent transports auth data.
EDIT (more clarification):
For example, I have the following setup
Sender-dependent transports = SDT
SDT1 is applied to the domain1.local
SDT2 is applied to the account user1@domain1.local
SDT1 is setup to use mail1.local, user1 and password1
SDT2 is setup to use mail2.local, user2 and password2
The behaviour I’m facing:
For the domain1.local, the auth data mailcow is using:
mail1.local, user1, password1
For the user1@domain1.local, the auth data mailcow is using:
mail2.local, user1, password1
Which seems incorrect, because it is using the data from mail1.local, not mail2.local
The UI is not showing this type of configuration at all
The only fix I found is to run a Cron job to rewrite the .conf file every minute and to a postfix reload command inside the postfix container, to prevent Mailcow from rewriting the defective config file
Thanks for the help!
