Is it a problem to install fetchmail on the mailcow host?

Why would anyone want something like that?

To catch Mails from a mailbox located somewhere else and domain dns settings cannot be changed to send mails directly to mailcow.

Customization of imapsyncs settings seem to be limited. For instance catching mails can only be set to every 20 minutes.

Anticloudazure No need for fetchmail in this case, just use a sync job

But this is not a solution for me.

As far as I know syncjobs are limited to only one job running at a time.

The purpose of the job is different from the normal purpose which is migrating a mailbox.

The jobs purpose I am talking is Ferdinand a users mailbox with new mails.

So if another Sync Job is taking Long to end maybe because of a big Migration it will Pause the other Jobs Weile the User is waiting for new Mails.

Or am I missing something?
