nice! I had forgotten about k9mail.. don’t have android these days. interesting to see that k9 is becoming thunderbird mobile.
I really like the way mailcow makes it so easy to set up accounts on apple devices, and am keen to stick with that, both for myself and for others I am helping to get off big tech. It “just works”.
I am struggling to get my mailcow calendar to work as a “free/busy” source for my netcloud calendar, which is how I want to allow people to schedule meetings. I like how nextcloud calendaring integrates with nextcloud talk, where I want to be able to host the meetings. Meanwhile, once an event has been scheduled in nextcloud, I’d like it to automatically show up in my apple calendar. This half works. I can see it in apple but not change it. All I can do is add it to my mailcow calendar once it has been created. This workflow, again, is something that I want to master both for myself and help others to be able to do, as an alternative to google meet or zoom etc.
It would be nice to be able to write up simple instructions for doing this - for now it feels a bit too hard/confusing, especially when compared to google calendar where everything seems to just work.
