Change the Docker default logging driver

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anything on this topic in the forum. Does anyone have experience switching the Docker “default logging driver” from “json” to “journald”? I’d like to have more options for monitoring the log files with Fail2Ban. According to the Mailcow documentation, it should work without any problems, but I thought I’d double-check. Perhaps someone has already done this.

I use fluentd driver to shipping all logs to centralized logging system without any problem.

ETNyx how have you done this? Via docker-compose.override.yml or direct for whole Docker? I only need some of the Mailcow-Logs in journald.

Both ways are possible, I use docker-compose.override.yml because i override more than logging driver and some specific to specific container. But if you do not need anything else, using daemon.json will be more convenient, if MC add new container (or remove one) you do not need change anything in future.
