Default mailbox quota not considered when creating new mailboxes

In my domain properties I set:

Default mailbox quota: 3072

Then I go to Mailboxes -> Add mailbox and the default value of the field Quota (MiB) is 2048.
Is this a known issue?

My mailcow dockerized version is: 2026-01, SOGo version: 5.12.4

When you are adding new mailbox, it should show you biggest possible space, you can allocate to new mailbox. That means there are several limits for that, my guess is that you are hitting different limit, for example you have setup quota for domain 4096 MiB, default mailbox quota is 3072 MiB but you have already existing mailbox A allocating 2048 MiB so new mailbox B can be only 2048 MiB, so MC correctly show this as limit instead of default.
