Is it possible to add photos to contacts in SOGo?

I just want to add photos to email addresses so I can easily identify which address is sending me mail. I know gravitars exist but it would be difficult to get multiple companies to sign up for Gravitar.

Not that I am aware of. That works only inside the Microsoft World.

Well, I have an Active Directory server with pictures for accounts.
For example Nextcloud - not a microsoft product - gets from the Active Directory the people photos.
That would be really nice if mailcow would do the same.

Also works with iPhone contact entries.
Probably also with Android, but I can’t test it myself.

If I add an image to my contacts from the IOS world, this is also visible in the Outlook client.

So the image is definitely synchronized.

I also see contact pictures on the tablet or smartphone when I add them using Outlook.

SoGo also displays the images. You just can’t change or remove them.
At least I haven’t discovered the function yet.

CK_beats You are talking about your contacts in SoGo, the OP want’s to add photos via Mailcow GUI to the mailboxes so that all users can automatically see them, just like Exchange/AD is able to
(at least if I understood the OP’s requirements correctly)

I also added the contacts of my colleagues (internal) because of direct dial numbers.
Additionally, I cannot access the global address list of domains (GAL) via Outlook.
This is also how I see the pictures of colleagues who write to me.
In addition to the external ones who write to me.

DocFraggle You did understand my end goal, however I was thinking on using SoGo contacts to set the profile pictures, and then exporting those contacts so other users on my instance can import and use the pictures as well. I was looking for a work-around using SoGo contacts as I had figured it was not possible within the Mailcow GUI just based on the documentation.

CK_beats It would mostly be used to easily identify real emails vs spam/phishing emails. I have a couple users with visual impairment and a picture to identify the sender would help them a lot.

An example would be an email from notifications@github.com showing the GitHub logo, but an email from notifications@github.com.spamdomain.xyz would not have a profile picture, making it obvious to identify one is not from the real GitHub. The other example would be if someone was looking for an email receipt, it’d be easier for them to find the receipt if they had a picture of the store the receipt is from next to the email. (receipt@amazon.com having the amazon logo as a contact photo, and receipt@alixepress.com having aliexpresses logo, for example)
