Getting an error when running this.
I change my ISP but I don’t think that is the issue.
I may have a new iptables package that might be causing the error.

[demo@mail ~]$ sudo /etc/iptables/./abuseipdb.sh --enable-log

Retrieve IPs from AbuseIPDB
Ensure the ipsets exist
Creating ipset abuseipdb_blacklist_v4
ipset v7.24: Kernel error received: set type not supported
Creating ipset abuseipdb_blacklist_v6
ipset v7.24: Kernel error received: set type not supported
Flush existing ipset entries
ipset v7.24: The set with the given name does not exist
ipset v7.24: The set with the given name does not exist
Process each IP and add it to the appropriate ipset
Ensure iptables/ip6tables rules exist at the top
iptables v1.8.11 (legacy): Set abuseipdb_blacklist_v4 doesn't exist.

Try `iptables -h' or 'iptables --help' for more information.
ip6tables v1.8.11 (legacy): Set abuseipdb_blacklist_v6 doesn't exist.

Try `ip6tables -h' or 'ip6tables --help' for more information.
iptables v1.8.11 (legacy): Set abuseipdb_blacklist_v4 doesn't exist.

Try `iptables -h' or 'iptables --help' for more information.
ip6tables v1.8.11 (legacy): Set abuseipdb_blacklist_v6 doesn't exist.

Try `ip6tables -h' or 'ip6tables --help' for more information.


All done, have fun.

Check your current iplist entries with 'ipset list | less'

Please don’t use sudo, it messes up your PATH. Run it directly as root

Ah, did you switch to a VPS provider which uses his own kernel? Well had this a few months back, the provider’s kernel didn’t support the appropriate iptables modules

Well I hope you will still assist. I am running on an unsupported OS on my own server: Archlinux
It gets new updates almost everyday.

If the provider doesn’t support normal kernel packages it’s a problem

Did you reboot after the last kernel update?

Just googling for the error message reveals that you had the same issue almost two years ago:

I thought I rebooted after the kernel update but I hadn’t .
All seems fine now.
