Hi!

One of my containers (dovecot-mailcow) suddenly takes a really long time to come up (minutes instead of seconds). This leads to rspamd, netfiler and ipv6nat to not start either so I have to start them manually once dovecot is up. How can I debug this behaviour? I see no log entries at all from dovecot until it starts and then it looks normal. I don’t see anything out of the ordinary either in dockers own log (even though it’s a bit cryptic). The only major difference I have now compared to when startup was fast is +500GB of mail that is synced over. But I don’t see how this should this affect dovecot startup time.

  • Problem solved but not fully understood I suppose. André Peters from mailcow suggested to turn off SELinux which I did and the problem went away. Might be god to know if anyone else experiences the same weird behaviour.
