TLS SNI unknown error

I am trying to connect a PDU to a mailcow system that we recently stood up and am getting some weird errors that i cannot figure out, the PDU is talking to mailcow over port 465 and every time i start a test email on that box i get TLS SNI is unknown errors, its using a hostname that is within my domain and using an IP that is within my IP space.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
