Not receiving emails

I upgraded to Debian 13 last night and now I’m not receiving emails, but I can send them.
In the logs I’m seeing weird messages where there is an attempt to MX resolve VixiDebian (the name of the server on my network)

I’ve been trying to fix it for the past hour and I’m stumped.
I’ve disabled firewalls and that hasn’t fixed it. I’ve tried fixing chown errors on the data folder. and I still don’t receive emails.

I was receiving emails earlier this morning. The upgrade happened last night.

When I check the dns configuration I see this for the TLSA record:

You are behind NAT? I would think your name in network should be FDQN, so update mess up your /etc/host, /etc/hostname a similar config?

I had a similar problem after upgrading to Debian 13 yesterday.

In my case the Debian upgrade installed and enabled a local Exim mailserver which was listening on port 25 of the host, answering local requests. Since I did not bring down the mailcow stack manually before upgrading, it continued to run after rebooting but behaved erratically.

Check with netstat -tulpen as root if Exim is listening on port 25 and disable it.

Updating DNS records fixed it. The auto discover record had the wrong port.

I’m still getting these errors about root@VixiDebian though. The connecting IP is that of the mailcow bridge network:
