rkcreation Hi everyone, I have some mailboxes configured on my mailcow server (50), and weirdly only a few of them can’t login with the new Outlook: for a same domain, some mailboxes work and other don’t (regular names, same password types, etc.). Issue on github: mailcow/mailcow-dockerized6591 Is anyone experiencing the same problem? Thanks in advance
esackbauer First of all: Avoid New Outlook at all costs. It stores your credentials and all you mails on microsoft servers. It would be better to book MS365 rightaway… Check if users that cannot authenticate are using 2FA. If they use 2FA they have to create an app passwort for New Outlook.
rkcreation Yes, I completely agree with you! But one of my customer, despite of all my warnings, still wants to use new Outlook…
ETNyx Already on 2025-07 version? Also check what Outlook they are using, MS have currently several Outlook version containing different set of abilities, for example if you down Outlook in subscriction page, you got some version that cant use their “data files” on your disk, you need to go download different version.
rkcreation And mailboxes that are not working do not use 2FA [unknown] I haven’t updated yet, but it doesn’t seem to have O365 related changes, isn’t it? I will check Outlook version, but I have tried with many computers, so I think different versions.
