SoGo and dynamic email aliases

Hello,
is there a away to configure SoGo to let me use a custom sender address? I would usually use (semi random) + aliases but can’t find a way to edit the sender in SoGo, beside the aliases configured for that specific account. Is that even possible?

SOGo cannot really do this, unless you configure in sogo.conf SOGoMailCustomFromEnabled = YES
But then any user can modify the from address.
For these special use cases, I would use a regular mail client which supports this.

Ah, that’s OK. That’s a “private” mail server in this case. That’ll do!
I’d usually be using a desktop client but couple times I found myself in situation where I only had access to the email and needed to send a mail with one of the aliases.
