SOGO not loading

Hi. I read many new community articles and release notes but could not find a solution.

Yes, the login pages changed. I know. But https://domain.com/SOGo/so is not loading. Yes it has a new longin screen from mailcow first, and this is irritating end-users. But right now I just can not access sogo from nowhere. Are there new changes? Why did we not get an E-Mail with these kind of important changes?

Via URL https://domain.com/SOGo/so is sogo not loading and just jumping back to the page before. The cache is clean.

With sogo Button inside the mailcow UI it is not working too.

Does anybody have a hint?

Where can an Admin define whether a user should be redirected to the mailcow UI or SOGo after login?

Is it possible that logins in SOGO via mailcow Login via the e-mail address of the e-mail inbox are no longer possible? We have more than 60 customers who are currently no longer able to log in to webmail / sogo.

In the mailcow admin GUI you can set this per user/mailbox.

When you try to install the update you will be warned if you have read the release notes. you have to enter “yes”. If you do answer yes anyway without you reading the release notes and checking for breaking changes, sorry its your problem.
Also you should always read all changelogs since the version you are updating from.

I would suggest that you subscribe to mailcows github releases, so that you are informed per mail if you wish.

Hello esackbauer, thanks for your answer. We are installing updates on autopilot. This worked for us the last 2 years. But this way we dont get major changes.

Autopilot is a very dangerous way to update mailcow. You should always use the official method!
https://docs.mailcow.email/maintenance/update/

Otherwise you will miss out on firewall rule updates and many containers are fixed versions in docker compose file.

As you know there is an official auto update method from mailcow itself. We are not using something selfmade 😉

Thank you for your links. I checked them, looked as far as I could, into commits etc. But I could not find a solution to let sogo work.

It would be very kind if someone could point out a link to a solution.

sogo completely inaccessible thru mailcow webmail UI with e-mail address and PW. This is a login disaster for us and all our clients!

I helped myself. For everybody who having the same issue:

https://docs.mailcow.email/troubleshooting/debug-admin_login_sogo/ - set ALLOW_ADMIN_EMAIL_LOGIN to y (yes) in mailcow.conf via SSH.
“docker compose up -d” via SSH

THEN Users can login via mailcow Login UI but into SOGO with email address and email password which was not working before.
