I have other IMAP accounts connected to mailcow SoGo on the same server.

Since the last update, I can’t send/forward emails from these accounts and an orange window with an exclamation mark always appears.

The SoGo logo will show:
04/02/2025 10:52:25 notice [362]: <0×0×55c562bb53e0[WOHttpAdaptor]> notified the watchdog that we are ready

Please do not double post…
IMAP is not responsible for sending, that is SMTP. YOu need to look at the postfix logs.

Of course I use IMAP for sending!
Everything worked fine until update 2025-03.

Sorry, of course I use SMTP for sending.

As I wrote until update 2025-03 everything worked, now forwarding and sending from a linked IMAP account in SoGo does not work.

Seems like you are making it more complicate than a groupware is actually built for.
Delete those IMAP and SMTP accounts. Those internal IP addresses might change with each update.

In SOGo simply share the mailboxes you want to see in your account.

You could also delegate the whole mailbox to you, if you click at the 3 dots next to the email address

I downgraded and switched back to legacy mode.

Now everything works including sending and forwarding messages from other connected IMAP accounts.

If you are using SoGo and have other IMAP accounts connected to it, do not upgrade to the stable branch!

VDR If you are using SoGo and have other IMAP accounts connected to it, do not upgrade to the stable branch!

That is nonsense, it only happens if you connect accounts of your own mail server. And that is done differently and much easier, as I explained.

Unfortunately, it’s not nonsense. It just doesn’t work with the new version, as it has so far.

If I may ask, how can I completely connect someone else’s email from the server?

You advised me how to delegate an email and how to share an individual folder.

To explain it further I need to understand what you mean by “completely connect someone elses email”.
If you delegate a users mailbox to you, you see it in your SOGo and you can read all mails/folders and send mails on his behalf.

[unknown] It just doesn’t work with the new version, as it has so far.

The way you are using it is not an intended/supported use case.

Thanks, if I delegate an email in SoGo, I can only act as that user.
I can’t see their mailbox contents anywhere.

I can only share individual folders.

      No one is typing
