Since update 2025-03 or 2025-03a the password renewal request function no longer works, am I alone or is this a known problem.

Just tested it and it wont work here either.
As admin: sender’s mail address, subject and text is set.
on mailbox: user is allowed to setup this feature (ACL is enabled)
on mailbox: recovery mail is configured (doesn’t matter if internal or external address)
trying to use the password recovery function, but unfortunately no email will be sent (there isn’s a single line in the postifx log file)
will create a git issue later this evening.
