Hello,

Could someone explain, step by step, how to set up Backblaze S3 or another S3 service (Hetzner Cloud S3 would be best, as my servers are hosted there) as the default email storage, so I can have unlimited storage for attachments and fast downloads?

I asked an AI, and it said that Dovecot configuration is more reliable than s3fs. I’ve tried setting it up, but something always goes wrong.

Please help. Thank you.

I think we had a similar discussion some months ago. S3 storage for your emails won’t really work out because important IMAP features don’t work as they do on a normal filesystem

Hi, there. I’ve just setup mailcow server, over 2 week ago. My installation not generally standart, because I’ve used s3sf for vmail-vol-1 volume and for sogo-userdata-backup-vol-1 volume. Because I expect more than 10 TB data. I installed the s3fs package (apt install s3fs). And setup
