Hello guys, i upgraded our Mailserver today with 2025-03 and now i cant login anymore.
At first my TOTP is not accepted anymore, so i disabled it via console. After that i can login without any Error Message, but the site only reloads and i need to login again. There is no way to get to SoGo or the Admin Interface. There is also no log to the login.

  • Strange Error….
    I reinstalled Mailcow from scratch and restored my data using the included restore feature. Now it works.

    Yes i read the release notes and use /admin. There are no infos about additional steps except using the update script.
    So the Login Page just reloads at login.
    Interesting fact: IMAP and SMTP works

    Maybe browser cache? Does Incognito window work?

      hmmm,

      login works but only from the mailcow login page. sogo is not directly available. (after login it redirects you to sogo)
      However now my activesync is broken?

        i did. I have my mailcow behind a reverse proxy. active sync is not working anymore.

        pkernstock I also thought about that and tried it via kasm and inkognito, but same problem.
        Then i thought about my reverse proxy and skipped it, but also no luck.

          NiclasPe yup same for me everything is working except the activesync part.

          I think i am reverting the update and will wait till this is fixed

            Ckruijntjens Do you see any attempts regarding ActiveSync in the SOGO logs?
            Also the reverse proxy should have something in the logs if it tries unsuccessfully to forward to SOGo.

              When i test the internal url (activesync) i get error access denied. so this is without the reverse proxy

                I just did admin password reset and it’s working now

                If just encounted that errror, that the admin login /admin works, but a user login at / does not work, in the php-fpm-mailcow-1 there is the message that the password for the user is wrong. But even after resetting the password for a new one, the error still persists.
                Nginx logs shows a redirect to the passwordpolicy, so it may related?

                Hi @all.

                I have kind of the same problem: Admin login not working.

                ./helper-scripts/mailcow-reset-admin.sh was working ans set new login data - but with this data it wa snot possible to login ether.

                Has anyone a idea? I would not like to reinstall everything.

                omg yes this was the problem. I swear, I could login-in into the admin dashboard with my admin login without the /admin/ directory some months before… Oh lord thanks!

                  FliFlaFloh That’s because you didn’t read the release notes despite of acknowledging that you did during the update…

                  It’s even displayed as a note at the top of this forum
