I have never really understood why people, especially home users, who have turned their backs on Microsoft, Google, and the like to protect their privacy and regain control of their data, then put Cloudflare in front of their self-hosted services and let them read all their traffic.
For large companies with thousands of users, or public websites or web services with a lot of traffic, this may all make sense, but for a private mail server, a personal Nextcloud instance, etc… I don’t think so.
