Hey everyone,
in combination with changing from a my old mailserver to mailcow, i’m also changing my email adresses, which is is also a new domain. I would like to have a setup where everything which reaches my old mail domains (multiple boxes from multiple domains) to get relayed to my new single email address on a new domain.
When i was doing something like this in the past, i created a alias of my old email address and my new email address as the receiving mailbox.
Would someone give me a hint how to do something like this in Mailcow in the most simple way, as i’m unfortunately a bit in a hurry 😮💨 ?
The new domain is already created in mailcow and also the new mailbox which is working fine with SPF, DMARC, DKIM and all of the extended DNS records as Thunderbird was able to connect instantly to the Calendar and Addressbook.
I’ve also already created the old domains within Mailcow as Full-Relayed Domains. But nothing more, didnt changed the DNS records yet before the email relaying to my new box is ready.
Thanks in advance.
Okay - got it. Relay is the wrong way. It’s just as i did before: Creating a alias with @old-domain1.tld,@old-domain2.tld,… (CatchAll) and my new box like box@new-domain.tld as receiver.
