Question about how quarantine works

Hello, everyone. Those of you who know - please tell me what happens when I select a message in quarantine and choose the ‘Learn as spam and delete’ action. Going through quarantine list is the same chore as sifting through the junk folder. My wish is that once I tell MailCow ‘Learn as spam’ the same garbage would not show up in quarantine again and Mailcow would just reject the crap mail silently next time they arrive. Yet, I am not sure this is what really happens so even if I mark messages in quarantine as spam they keep coming again. I know I can do blacklisting but this is one by one process. So, when I do ‘Lean as spam’ - am I just training my instance of Rspamd?

Please do not do this, you are asking for troubles whit this.

You can force this by start using Rspamd action reject or discard. BUT you will most likely derived this from Rspamd score, so be aware Rspamd sometimes mark some e-mails as false positive, then those message will be lost in depth of internet forever.

You have to train with ~ 150 to 200 mails before it fires, that’s the current default setting

Ah, I see. So, it is possible to define a score-based action. I found the configuration file in ‘/mailcow-dockerized/data/conf/rspamd/local.d/actions.conf’ and it already has reject action. My quarantine has messages with ‘Rejected’ label. So, if I don’t want to see crap messages at all should I adjust Discard action?

I am wondering whether any response message is sent to the sender in case the chose action is reject…
