Dear MailCow community!
I have a problem with sending calendar invitations.
Since I set up the server X years ago, I can’t remember when/how the setting described below was created.
The following: When I send an invitation, the sender is specified as apps@<old_DOMAIN>.de but not the real sender.
Excerpt from an invitation:
X-APPLE-CREATOR-IDENTITY:com.apple.calendar
X-APPLE-CREATOR-TEAM-IDENTITY:0000000000
ATTENDEE;EMAIL=3D<RECEIVER_NAME>@gmail.com;PARTSTAT=3DNEEDS-ACTION;CUTYPE=3DINDIVID=
UAL;RS
VP=3DTRUE:mailto: <RECEIVER_NAME>@gmail.com
ORGANIZER;CN=3DMax Mustermann;EMAIL=3Dapps@<OLD_DOMAIN>.de:mailto:max.mustermann@<NEW_DOMAIN>.de
CLASS:CONFIDENTIAL
END:VEVENT
END:VCALENDAR
The IOS calendar or MailApp always contains max.mustermann but not apps@<OLD_DOMAIN>.de.
During the research I found an alias: apps@<OLD_DOMAIN>.de to max.mustermann@<NEW_DOMAIN>.de.
If I deactivate this alias, no calendar invitations are sent. If enabled the invitations are sent out.
Does anyone have an idea where this is defined, or how I can set that the max.mustermann is and not apps@ …?
Thanks in advance.
