    I installed a brand new MailCow. I have followed all the steps described here: docs.mailcow.email Icon Information & Support

    I’ve set up a domain inside the server, created a mailbox, and configured all the DNS settings accordingly. In the test, I can send and receive emails normally through sogo, but when I use the client software, I can’t connect to the mailbox, I can’t find any workaround in the documentation…
    Using client software during testing, these Dovecot log outputs were discovered
    The client software used is Thunderbird

    There are no logins from external IPs in your log. That’s all internal.
    How did you configure Thunderbird? Please post the values you used.
    And what’s the error message Thunderbird shows?

        Here’s the information I filled in Thunderbird

        Thunderbird told me it could be a mistake in configuring a username or password
        But I can send and receive emails normally via webmail
        The previous log is output by dovecot when I log in with Thunderbird

          Your ports 465 and 993 are closed… check your firewall

              I was just changing the NAT mapping of the firewall, and I suspected it was a problem with the NAT mapping, so I changed the mapping method

              I opened these ports on my firewall 25| 465 | 587 | 110 | 143 | 993 | 995 |4190

              I was able to use Thunderbird for about 1 hour after restarting mailcow, and then when I tested 993 465 ports were not open, but I had them open on my firewall and firewalld and selinux were disabled on the host

                    Hmm, can’t really help you here, that doesn’t look like a mailcow problem…
