Mailcow is the best!
I have set everything correctly and all my emails are getting to all recipients at google, outlook and icloud. Initially they were getting to the spam folder and then I changed the spf from “v=spf1 a mx mail.example.com -all” to this and now all emails are getting to the inbox and not to the spam folder in gmail and outlook. I changed it to: “v=spf1 a mx ip6:1234:a123:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:0001 ip4:123.456.789.123 -all” (not my real ips of course). I added the ip6 and ip4 and it is working nicely. Just in case your emails are going to the spam folder, make this change in your spf dns settings.
However, now I am facing a new challenge and I hope you all can help me. There is one server that I cannot get my emails to go through. The info below is fictitious of course. I get this message:
doe@example.com: host mail.company.com [123.139.170.100] said: 550
Unauthenticated mail not allowed from this range (in reply to RCPT TO
command)
I did some online searches and I get info that I need to change the reply to to my email. I did that and it didn’t helped. Any ideas? I also read that it could be the receiving mail server that is blocking the email. My ip is clean not blacklisted.
Merry Christmas to the Mailcow team too. I bought the SAL license. Great work with Mailcow. Thanks for creating Mailcow. Glad we have other options for email than the “free” email providers.
