Duplicate emails in custom folder after upgrade to 2024-11b when using SOGo filter rules with alias

Description:
After upgrading to mailcow version 2024-11b, I encountered an issue with duplicate emails when using SOGo filter rules with mailcow alias setup. This behavior didn’t occur in previous versions.

Current Setup:

Issue Description:

  1. Without filter rule:

  2. With filter rule:

    • Same email sent to both addresses
    • Two identical emails appear in the “grouptest” folder
    • Both emails have:
      • Same Message-ID
      • Different X-Original-To headers (one for each address)

Important Note:

  • This issue started occurring after upgrading to version 2024-11b
  • Previous versions handled this scenario correctly with only one email appearing in the custom folder

Expected Behavior:

  • Only one email should appear in the custom folder, just like in the inbox
  • Should work the same way as it did in previous versions

Question:

  • Is this a known issue with the new version?
  • Is there a way to prevent duplicates in custom folders while maintaining the filter rule?
  • Are there any configuration changes needed after the upgrade?
