Migration of emails

Hi Mailcow Community,

We created a host mailcow dockerized ourselfs at mail.byzz.plus, we currently have 64 active mailboxes and 35 domains, we want to migrate all domains and primarily all email addresses to a new server, this new server offers a free email migration tool, however I would need to use the username and password for each email to migrate them unto the new server. We do not have every password for each email, is there a way we can change the passwords without needing the old passwords to do so? or a way of encrypting all the current passwords so that we do not need to change them to migrate them?

Apologies if this is an obvious question, I am completely new to this process.

Well as admin of Mailcow you can change all mailboxes password, no problem there, or is it?

About “decrypting password”, no luck there, password is usually not encrypted but hashed, this is designed as one way crypto process and decryption (for example in case of database leak) is nearly impossible (if proper and modern algorithm used),..
