I have just noticed that my VPS has sent out 36GB of data since the 7th of this month but only received 3GB. Only a few people use it, and we hardly ever send emails. I have also checked rspamd, and I can't see anything strange, like hundreds of emails being sent out from someone. Is it normal for mailcow to send out this much data?

SimplyCorbett how would they do that? I and I think my friend uses calDAV and cardDAV but I wouldn’t expect it to use that much bandwidth

I would advise you to cut off access to people you don’t know.

Maybe some tools like jnettop (or therelike) help to see which connections consume so much. Not sure which tools could help to get a more closer understanding on what ports are consuming most…

pkernstock finally figured it out. it was my status site uptime-kuma I had it ping the UI, sogo, and SMTP etc every 30 seconds.

going to have to look into a better way of getting down notifications
