Unfortunately, the included backup script always recreates the complete archives, which could last a long time.
So I was looking for a way to make the whole thing more efficient.
As far as I know there arent much information or scripts about incremental mailcow-backups out there.
Since I came across some questions about this during my own research in this board and on github, I wrote a script myself which I want to share with you. This is the first release and surely there is still room for improvement. Nevertheless it is worth to have a look.
In my tests already the first initial run with Borgbackup was much faster than the helperscript.
The following backups only took a fraction of the original time!
Please let me know about your opinions and suggestions!
