Hello,

I’m trying to edit a sieve file (sogo.sieve) for mail forwarding rules but can’t see the changes in my SOGo interface and the filters are not functioning meaning the changes are not applied. Interestingly if I edit the filters on the interface the changes I made to the file are simply undone so it seems saving on the interface just rewrites the whole sieve file.

I’ve tried docker exec -it mailcowdockerized-dovecot-mailcow-1 doveadm reload
to apply the changes but it’s not working.

What do I have to do to apply the changes?

Any chance you forgot to save it? I do, half of the time. The save button of floppy disk

That’s the thing: I don’t know how to perform this “save” from the console of the server. I’m trying to modify the filters in the siev file itself.

Ok, in this case: I do not know how to help you, as far as I know Sogo does not use files, but database, please go to sogo docs

Also if you log-in as admin in configuration there are Filters, you can add per user sieve filters. Could this be viable for you?

ETNyx Thanks for the response. You mean as in add filters on the web interface? That works but the problem is I need to be able to automate this process, adding and removing filters programmatically because I need to add and remove many entries and often so that would be very labor intensive to do manually every time
